この韓国の小細工騒動は今回だけではなかった！
台湾の野球ファンは、今回の騒動で韓国が過去に何度も『小細工』を繰り返してきたことを思い出さずにいられないと激怒しているという

① １９８６年にオランダで開催されたＩＢＡＦワールドカップ。呂明賜選手がホームランを打ったはずだったが、なぜか韓国人３塁線審が異議を唱えたことでホームランが認められなくなり、台湾は１－０で敗北した。
② １９８９年に韓国で開催されたアジアカップでは、韓国代表が日本代表に敗れた後に得失点などによる順位の決定方式が変更され、中国・日本・韓国が「すべて優勝」となった。
③ ２００１年のアジアカップでは、使用するバットが問題に。
韓国は木製バット使用を主張。台湾は金属バット使用を主張。日本は「相手チームと同じバットを使用」の方針で、試合に臨んでいた。
韓国は日本戦までは木製バットを使用していたのに、日本戦には 日本側に何も伝えずに金属バットを使用した。日本は木製バットを使用。
当然日本側は試合後、不満を表明した。
⑤ ２００７年アジアカップ、韓国側は試合前に繰り返し、台湾代表と日本代表は圧縮バットを使用していると非難した。
しかし実際には韓国代表だけが圧縮バットを使用していたことが分かった。
⑥ ２０１４年に韓国の仁川で開催されたアジア大会では、台湾の「押さえの切り札」である羅嘉仁投手が試合直前に、ドーピング防止のための「尿検査」を要求された。そのため羅選手は投球練習が不十分に。
自由時報は「ドーピング検査は通常、試合後に実施する。実に不合理だった」と批判した。
